Hey VEGAS girls... it's crazy to think the event is THIS week. Are you ready? I wanted to share a few "samples" for the Saturday workshop that I am teaching. You can do a handwritten word, a quote or even you my new Signature 8x10 stencils if you wish. There are NO rules!!!! This is going to be fun. Remember, bring you paint colors in case I do not have the ones you would want. Then bring a pencil and marker to create. COUNTDOWN to extreme fun has begun... Can't wait to see EACH of you!

Taylor took me to the hospital and took this photo in the exam room. I thought I would THANK her for helping me today when she should have been doing wedding plans. Here is a little update for you. In case you did not hear, I survived my surgery. ha ha...I am busy busy with wedding, photo shoots, preparing for IU event and am stressing about all he details. IU is like having a baby for me once a year. I just think about the event EVERY single day. I wanted this year to be the BEST year ever. Well, until next year. wink!!!! Opps- did I say that?????

I am literally scared that the massive amount of boxes won't fit into the cargo van I rented. I am doing Teresa's Favorite Things giveaway on Friday night. Don't miss it... come get your golden ticket. You will all get to meet Michael or MIKE if you like. He is coming with Bridget (you get to meet her too) at the event. They are new additions to the TC family. It takes a village I tell you. This year is HUGE and I needed ALL the help I could get to pull it of. Mike is driving the van down for me. Did I mention I have a TON of boxes and prizes?????

 I did a LONG blog post tonight about this fun week and going into next week. Please read my post on Taylors wedding. I explained about her not doing invitations except for immediate family for the wedding portion. The reception is going to be AMAZING!!!!! Okay, I feel very thankful for (in no particular order).
 1. to be alive- I was really scared to be put under
 2. that Taylor destroyed the video. I was on VERSED... okay???? 3. my baby girl is so in love and getting married
 4. I ordered a waffle truck for Friday's reception
5. TC is coming from Alabama to help me. True friend when you need help!
6. The cards and emails and texts from you girls.
7. Those of you coming to the reception to support Taylor. It means so much. If you know Taylor she has a open and kind heart and wanted anyone who were her friends to come.
 8. My son in law Devan Bartholomew who gave me the sweetest blessing ever before I had surgery on Tuesday evening. We were both crying. I love him!
9. My daughters getting pedicures and sending me photos today (even though I could not join them- I love that my kids are best friends).
10.  I got to spend the entire day with Tyler in bed (watching LOVE shows) together and sleeping.  BEST day EVER!!!!!  I am so thankful to be seeing EACH of you NEXT week. I love you and feel so much appreciation for your support each and every year.

Countdown 20 days - SNEAK PEEK of FRIDAY NIGHT

HELLO everyone. This has been an exciting week. If you have not heard all the news by now you need to check out my personal blog. It's been a whirlwind with the huge announcements and my husband getting to come home from the hospital. 

I wanted to give you more information on Thursday Night so you are prepared for some fun! 

THURSDAY NIGHT- 
Meet & Greet starts at 7:00pm-8:30 pm. 

Join the teachers during this time to talk and see their table displays of beautiful creations. This is your time to talk one on one. In the past we had attendees come later and the teachers were packed up. Friday and Saturday is long teaching days, so please come during those hours on Thursday so the teachers can get lots of rest. 

This year, you are in for a TREAT. You will have my daughter Taylor in the same room at her own table. She will have handouts and will demo & show you how to make these lighted cardboard marquee signs. This will be in the same room as the MEET and Greet on Thursday from 7-8:30 pm. Join Taylor as she shows you how she made these for her wedding on Friday September 19th. Yes, we will have a NEWLYWED with us.  She's marrying Travis Card in 14 days!!!!!

Yesterday, I had a meeting with my friends at American Crafts and I got the most amazing donation for the FRIDAY night festivities. Yes, you are going to be spoiled this year!!!! ARTFUL COLLAGE SNEAK PEEK BY PAULA CHENEY

Create a beautiful "vintage" look 6 x 8" mixed media panel.  In the class, we will learn tips and tricks to layer a background, incorporate die cuts seamlessly into your work and create a grungy background using Distress Markers, stamps and the new Spritzer tool.  The use of Remnant Rubs will allow you to choose your own words to create a personalized panel just for you or someone you love.

Photo: A "Found Relative" will be provided in the kit however, you are welcome to bring your own photo as a replacement.  Photo MUST be 3 x 5" with vertical orientation. 

MINI ALBUM IN A JAR SNEAK PEEK BY JODI SANFORD

 I’m so excited to be teaching at Inspiration Unlimited this year…it’s such an honor to be invited by Teresa!  Because you are all experience scrapbookers, I wanted to create something unique and fun that would really highlight your memories in a different way!  We’ll be creating a mini album…in a jar!  Yes, in a jar!  It’s a fun little concept that really hits on the new trends in scrapbooking like home decor, table decor and mini albums on display!  The product we’ll be using is a fun,  BRAND NEW collection called True Friend it’s filled with a pretty patterns and a gorgeous, on-trend color pallet! {Browns, black, yellows, oranges and mint.)  This line can suit boy or girl—check it out on our website for a better idea of the colors we’ll be using!  Also to note, we will be using smaller sized photographs for our album, wallet sized (2x3 and 3x4 photos will work best—anything larger won’t fit our album.  You can also use the index prints or your own sized prints that are smaller than 3x4).  I love smaller/mini photos because it’s easy to incorporate loads of them into on album!  We’ll also be working on journaling and sharing your story, so be prepared with your photos and your refresh your memory so you don’t miss a thing!

Decorative edge scissors and/or border punch(es)

Needle and ivory thread (mostly for button stitching and simple stitches)

Dimensional Adhesive (foam squares, etc.)

Heavy Duty Adhesive
